A Dalby man’s alleged rampage in a McDonald’s bathroom is believed to have stemmed from a large fine issued by police.
The man was first dealt with by police late Friday evening when he was fined for disorderly behaviour at the Russell Tavern.
It will be alleged the man made his way to McDonald’s, where he realised how much the fine would cost him, and damaged their bathrooms including smashing one of the basins.
Dalby police Sergeant Sean Donaghy said the man fled the scene before officers could arrive.
The 50-year-old was located on Monday afternoon and charged with wilful damage.
He will appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on September 21.
