A 28-year-old Dalby woman will front court after she allegedly crashed into a stationary car with three small children in her own car before fleeing the scene.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers later found the woman and charged her with the dangerous operation of a vehicle while adversely affected and failure to engage and render assistance as a driver.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the children were taken to hospital.
“One man in his 30s and three primary aged schoolchildren were transported to Dalby Hospital in stable conditions as a precaution,” she said.
The spokeswoman said the single-vehicle crash occurred on Wood Street, Dalby at 10.31pm on July 30.
The woman is set to face Dalby Magistrates Court on August 31.
