Eight more fire crews are on their way to assist with stopping the spread of a giant blaze travelling through bushland 75km west of Dalby.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services received reports about a fire on Carmodys Lane, Goranba at about 9.57am on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson confirmed at about 11.30am on September 29 two vehicles were still on scene battling the grass fire, with eight vehicles including two water bombers from Toowoomba on their way.
They said the southern flank of the fire has a 150 metre wide front.
While there are no threats to properties at the moment, the closest house is approximately 1 km away from the blaze.
