DALBY is set for another cold snap this week after experiencing a fresh start to the mornings last week.

Meteorologist Alex Majthrowski from the Bureau of Meteorology said that average temperatures are expected at the beginning of the week but will take a cold turn towards the end of the week.

“Temperatures should remain pretty close to average hanging around the mid 20s,” he said.

The minimum is expected to be 9 degrees on Monday and Wednesday, 8 degrees on Tuesday and 10 on Thursday.

“Friday will see a dramatic temperature drop to around 6 degrees and will reach a maximum of 19 degrees throughout the day,” he said.

There will be another drop on Saturday with a chilly 4 degree morning expected with a maximum of 20.

Dr Majthrowski said there is an increase in potential shower activity halfway through the week.

“No heavy rainfall totals are expected however,” he said.

“It should be mostly sunny, partly cloudy conditions from mid this week.”
