Extension plans approved for Dalby School

A Dalby school has been approved for two new primary school buildings.

Our Lady of The Southern Cross submitted an application to the Western Downs Regional Council for two single storey buildings and was approved on October 28.

The extensions will see the construction of three general learning areas and two multi-purpose rooms.

The plans for the new facilities have them placed outside the P.E. area towards the North-West side of the school.

According to the application, no definitive start date for construction was specified however it is expected to be developed in 2026.

The application stated that following the development, the college will have 75 FTE Staff and 745 students.
