Almost 100 Dalby residents were left without power on Monday when electrical lines were impacted by wildlife.
A spokesperson from Ergon Energy said two high voltage fuses had blown when a bird came into contact with the equipment.
Homes on Alfred, Arthur, Myall, Nearos, Reid and Wood streets were all affected.
The power outage was reported at 3.44pm and crews reacted quickly resolving the black out within the hour.
The heavy rainfall on Monday also saw the postponement of a planned outage for maintenance works just north of Dalby which has been rescheduled until April 9.
