Dalby car crash: Injured woman cut free after collision on Drayton Street, Arthur Street

Firefighters were forced to use cutting gear to free the driver, who was trapped in their vehicle following the two-car collision.

An injured driver had to be freed from her vehicle by fire crews after she became trapped following a T-bone collision in Dalby this morning.

Morning motorists witnessed two cars collide at the intersection of Drayton and Arthur Streets about 10.30am Monday.

A Queensland Fire spokesman said the woman, aged in her 40s, was initially trapped and crews used cutting gear to remove her from the car.

Paramedics treated her for chest and neck injuries at the scene, as well as a man for shock, according to a Queensland Police spokeswoman.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said two patients were transported to Dalby Hospital in stable conditions.

The north side of Arthur Street was closed during the incident, with fire crews and police making the scene safe before leaving at 11.15am.

There is no further disruption to traffic.
