More than a month on from the horrific police massacre that sent shockwaves through the Western Downs and the rest of the nation, community members continue to raise funds for the fallen officers’ families.
See the events that are being hosted throughout the region to raise funds for the families of officers, Constable Matthew Arnold and Constable Rachel McCrow.
Charity Bootcamp, January 21
Fitness trainer Tracey Callaghan is hosting a charity bootcamp to help raise funds for the Arnold and McCrow Remembrance Fund.
“The community was really affected by this tragedy and the police do an amazing job looking after us,” Ms Callaghan said.
“I want the community to come together, have some fitness fun, remember the officers who lost their lives and raise proceeds to go towards their Remembrance Fund.”
The event which costs $10 to participate is also open for non-members of the training club to attend.
Food will be offered by Thyme to Plate Catering Co and raffles and prizes will also be available.
The event will be hosted at TLC Fitness Studio, New Street Dalby.

Russell Tavern, January 14
The Russell Tavern in Dalby is hosting a sausage sizzle and raffle prize draw on Saturday to raise money for the officers’ families.
Prizes have been donated from the Russell Tavern, Mitre 10, K-mart, BWS, the Australian Hotel and Foodworks.
The sausage sizzle will be for a gold coin donation, with all proceeds going to the families and starts at 12pm.
