DALBY found themselves asking "where ISN'T Wally?” this morning as our very own Parkrun kicked off their second birthday celebrations.

145 runners turned up for the celebrations which saw the park on the corner of Edward St and Jimbour St flooded with a sea of red and white stripes, and round spectacles a-plenty.

Runners from Ballina, Stanthorpe, Brisbane and Toowoomba also joined in for the fun.

Plenty of awards were given out for runners who had achieved outstanding results in the last twelve months.

Just a couple of accolades included a certificate for Ann Henschell and Len Poulsen who won for most turns volunteering in the last year.

Murray Eiser won for most Parkruns under his belt, having ran 45 out of 51 events.

Molly Gibson and Sienna Harris tied for the junior award for most runs, participating in 26 events out of a potential 51.

Parkrunners were gifted a clear day and great running conditions for their second birthday.

But the biggest motivator for finishing the event?

A free zooper dooper and some slices of watermelon waiting at the finish line.
