From dress rehearsals, to prop making and special effects prepping, the students at Dalby State High School started practising for their production of Mamma Mia! in February.

The show, which wrapped up on Saturday, May 28 with a family-friendly matinee was held over four nights at the Great Hall at Dalby State High School.

Publicity manager Jane Hultgren said the students worked tirelessly to put on an extraordinary show for friends and families, and they had received positive feedback from the community.

“Everyone’s done such a good job, people are enjoying it,” she said.

Backstage was filled with make up chairs, equipment and chaos however that didn’t reflect on the students’ cool, calm and excited energies as they rehearsed some of ABBA’s greatest hits before officially taking to the stage.
