HAY bales have caught fire on the back of a truck five minutes north of Bell on the Bunya Highway.

HAY bales have caught fire on the back of a truck five minutes north of Bell on the Bunya Highway.
The driver was able to stop his vehicle and unhitch the trailer.
Some bales came off the trailer and are still burning.
The highway is currently closed and will remain closed until fire crews deem the area safe.
A police spokesman said a main concern was the smoke hazard.
