Acknowledging an outstanding woman

Michelle McVeigh has been awarded the Agribusiness Awards for the Women in Business.

BUSINESS WOMAN: Michelle McVeigh was awarded the Women in Business 2018 Agribusiness Award .

THE Women in Business Agribusiness Award was presented to Michelle McVeigh at the official gala event for the Downs region.

Mrs McVeigh is a partner in accounting firm BMO and the director of a large primary production business she operates alongside her husband.

Michelle said she was humbled by the award and recognition of her contribution to the agricultural industry.

"It is a great honour to be amongst such a high calibre of women and to be recognised by an organisation that encourages ambition, empowers confidence and inspires new female leaders,” she said.

"I openly admit that my achievements would not be possible without my support network.

"This award is a team effort thanks to my husband and two teenage sons, my parents, my business partners, team and clients at BMO, and family and friends I am extremely fortunate to be surrounded by such an incredible group of honest and caring people.”
