Cunningham Highway rollover leaves two fighting for life

Two people have suffered life-threatening injuries after their vehicle rolled on a highway west of Brisbane.

Two people are fighting for life after their vehicle rolled on a major highway west of Brisbane on Thursday night.

Emergency Services were called at about 5.10pm to a single-vehicle rollover on the Cunningham Highway on-ramp near Swanbank Road at Swanbank, just south of Ipswich.

It is understood the vehicle was travelling along the highway when it rolled.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said one male and one female suffered life-threatening injuries and were both transported to Ipswich Hospital.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service cleared the scene and said there were no entrapments.

The highway was reopened at 6.25pm.
