Pedestrian fighting for life after Kallangur crash

A husband and wife who were walking their dog have been hit by a car involved in a multi-vehicle crash at an intersection in Kallangur, just north of Brisbane.

Police are seeking witnesses after two people were critically injured in a crash at Kallangur north of Brisbane this morning.

Police say a silver hatchback was travelling westbound on Anzac Ave about 7.45am when it collided with an eastbound grey hatchback at the intersection with Brays Rd.

A man and woman were walking their dog, while crossing Anzac Avenue at the intersection when the silver hatchback hit both of the pedestrians.

A 31-year-old Kallangur man, driver of the silver hatchback, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A 46-year-old Murrumba Downs woman, who was trapped in her grey hatchback, is in hospital in a critical condition.

The 51-year-old Kallangur man is in hospital with critical head injuries while his wife, a 50-year-old woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or has relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
