STUNNING images showing the true extent of the vicious fire that destroyed the Big Brother House can be revealed for the first time.
The images, taken from the air and obtained by The Courier-Mail, show the charred remains of the infamous pool area and surrounding structure.
The iconic house, situated next to Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, was destroyed by a group of alleged teenage arsonists on Saturday.
Four youths were charged and two nine-year-olds were released following destruction of the abandoned mansion.
It’s understood the investigation found evidence of arson and police have finalised their investigation.
According to company Ardent Leisure – who owns Dreamworld – the Big Brother house was taken over by the Queensland Investment Corporation in July 2009.
QIC was asked how much the damage bill will cost the company and a spokeswoman said in a statement said: “We’re still in the process of investigating the damage caused by this incident, and will be considering a range of options for the House as part of our long-term masterplanning.”
