Moment truckie hits hoons’ car with a golf club

This is the moment a fed-up resident takes matters — and a golf club — into his own hands after a group of teenage hoons terrorised him and his neighbours for months. SEE VIDEO

A LOGAN truckie has taken a golf club in an attempt to stop a car of teenagers terrorising residents on a suburban street south of Brisbane.

The teenagers had reportedly been doing burnouts on a street in Crestmead, Logan, late at night for months, leaving skid marks and smoke.

Neighbours had reported the incidents to police who weren’t able to help because they couldn’t identify the young people nor their number plates.

This week, truck driver Brett Lapey decided he had enough and took a golf club to hit their car multiple times.

“I just grabbed a golf club and ran out the front,” Mr Lapey told 7NEWS.

In a video, Mr Lapey can be seen swinging his golf club at the speeding car multiple times.

The footage, which was shared by the network, was captured on the resident’s security cameras.

“You can’t expect the cops to sit here and wait for them so something has to happen,” he said.
