POLICE have charged a man after two Logan Hospital staff members were allegedly stabbed early this morning.
The incident happened about 5.20am where police claim a male patient assaulted a security guard and when staff attempted to restrain the man, he allegedly produced a small knife and wounded another security guard and an orderly.
The 21-year-old and 51-year-old male staffers both sustained stab wounds to their knees.
The 23-year-old Buccan man has been charged with three counts of common assault and two counts of wounding and will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
