A BRISBANE public servant who believes he is the love child of the heir to the British throne has been accused of telling his boss “to be careful” because “authorities ...overseeing the ‘Royal’ matter” were watching him and he may “go over” a cliff in a car.

Caboolture man Simon Dorante-Day, 50, allegedly told his boss at the state’s Public Safety Business Agency (PSBA) , that if his boss “continued with victimisation, he was getting into a driverless car heading for a cliff, and would go over the cliff.”

The details were contained in documents filed this month in the Supreme Court.

Dorante-Day was suspended from his job on June 1 for the remarks to his boss at an emergency services communications infrastructure development centre in Hamilton .

He claims he is the love child of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. He is suspended on full pay.

He has sued Kurt Marsden, the executive director of the Public Service Commission, in a bid to return to his job as a “principal technical officer” working on radio communications.

Court documents state that Dorante-Day is also alleged to have yelled at his boss Shane Wootten: “This is absolute bullshit, this is crap”, during an office argument earlier this year.

He has also asked the court to block “any further investigation” of him by the “Queensland Fixated Threat Assessment Centre”.

The PSBA has hired private investigator Virginia Simmons from Ashdale to examine the workplace complaints against Dorante-Day.

Court documents state Dorante-Day was due to meet with Ms Simmons on September 6.

Ashdale has previously been hired by the government to investigate unrelated matters including a male director of the State Library of Queensland who allegedly secretly photographed the breasts of six female staff at work, and the posting of sexual information on Facebook about female workers at the state’s Fire and Emergency Service.

Mr Dorante-Day told New Idea that his grandmother worked for Queen Elizabeth and she told him on her deathbed that he was the child of Charles and Camilla, and had been adopted aged 18 months.

He told the publication that he had “support” from “all the emergency services up in Queensland” in his quest to establish his royal parentage.

PSBA complaints manager Margaret Patane asked one of Dorante-Day’s superiors to demand he “immediately desist from mentioning his workplace, the Queensland police service and the “emergency services” in any future dealings with the media”, court documents state.

No future court date has been set.
