A PRISONER who faced court accused of throwing boiling water on Daniel Morcombe’s killer would be the only inmate charged over the attack, police said.

Brett Peter Cowan, who is serving a life sentence for the 2003 murder of 13-year-old Daniel, was taken to hospital with burns to his head, chest and legs recently following the incident at Wolston Correctional Centre in Brisbane’s west.

Adam Paul Davidson faced court via video link yesterday charged with grievous bodily harm.

Police said nobody else would be charged over the attack as the matter had been finalised, despite reports a number of inmates were involved. Davidson will reappear in court later this month.
