A TEENAGE boy has been charged following a horrific crash in north Brisbane where a school boy was allegedly left to die in the back seat of a car.

A TEENAGE boy has been charged following a horrific crash in north Brisbane where a school boy was allegedly left to die in the back seat of a car.
Police will allege at about 2am on September 22, a 15-year-old boy was driving a stolen vehicle with two 15-year-old male passengers when it left the road and crashed through a fence, hitting the front of a home on Appleby Rd, Stafford.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics worked on the teen for some time but he was unable to be revived and was declared dead at the scene.
The two other teens fled the scene on foot, police say.
Police have charged the 15-year-old driver with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving without a licence.
Investigations are continuing.
