Crash, car on fire, causes 22km of heavy traffic on Pacific Motorway southbound
A crash on the Gold Coast and a car that caught fire in a separate incident have caused heavy traffic delays southbound on the Pacific Motorway.

A crash near Yatala on the Gold Coast has traffic banked up over 22km southbound on the Pacific Motorway.
The traffic is building on the Pacific Motorway from Upper Mount Gravatt stretching down to Staplyton.
Commuters heading south to the Gold Coast have been warned to hold off.
The crash, which involved a vehicle rollover, was not serious.
One male patient was assessed but declined any transport to hospital, said a spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service.
Meanwhile, a car was on fire ten minutes out from Upper Mount Gravatt blocking the two left lanes before the Kessels Road overpass in Macgregor.
The car on fire has been extinguished, however the two left lanes before the Kessels Road overpass remain blocked for safety.
Emergency services are currently on scene.
Police are advising commuters to avoid the area if they can, or factor in extra travel time.
