Whistleblower Darren Power will be sworn in on Tuesday as Logan’s new mayor, alongside his new council including seven women and the state’s youngest councillor.
Logan’s next council, headed by whistleblower Darren Power, will be making history when it is sworn in tomorrow with the state’s youngest councillor taking up a seat.
Women will take up more than half of the seats in Logan City Council as results slowly trickle in more than three weeks after the local government election.
He had four decades’ experience on Ipswich council before getting sacked along with the entire administration. Now he’s back with a new running mate.
Less than three years after he ended his lengthy career in state parliament, former LNP leader Lawrence Springborg looks set to make a political comeback.
