There's only weeks so before we head to the polls in an historic election and plenty of people have declared their intention to run in the next Ipswich City Council Local Government election on March 28.

The 26-year-old is running as an independent and is the youngest candidate vying for a Division 3 seat.
Mr Pickwick said he would offer a fresh perspective and voice for the young families.

NURSE, educator and marriage celebrant Kate Kunzelmann is the second person to announce their candidacy as a councillor for the March 2020 Local Government Elections.
RUSSELL MILLIGAN
Council candidate's plan to smash Ipswich's 'stigma'
HE IS well aware of the magnitude of the job that lay ahead, as well as the sheer number of people for whom he will be advocating, but Russell Milligan believes he is the right man for the job.

Roads and regional residents a priority for new candidate
It's the third time Mr Scott has run but he said he was adamant he could bring the necessary skills and knowledge to the role.

DAVID Cullen believes his business experience and long history working with the community has equipped him with the skills to drive the Ipswich community forward.

Disability support worker runs for division 4.
Mr Blake, who was in the defence force, decided to run as a Division 4 councillor because he wanted to give back to the community.
