Brisbane City Council election 2020: How every ward is falling

The outcomes of all Brisbane council wards remains unknown tonight after the electoral commission was plagued by technical problems.

Qld goes to the polls despite coronavirus crisis

The Queensland local government election count has been plagued by technical problems tonight since polls closed with barely any results being uploaded to the website.

The ECQ late tonight issued a statement saying while counting had progressed, the results could not be uploaded online.

Counting is expected to stop at 10pm and resume tomorrow when - they hope - the tech troubles will be fixed.

It meant all Brisbane council wards remain up in the air with only a maximum of 14 per cent of the vote counted - 0 per cent showing for many wards.

It was likely to be one of the most controversial Brisbane City Council elections ever, as voters battled with social distancing measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Below is how the results unfolded. The Courier-Mail will run full coverage once the detailed results become know.
