Clayfield house party ends with 17-year-old Salisbury boy charged with grievous bodily harm after alleged slashing

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with grievous bodily harm after he allegedly slashed another teen with a knife at a house party in an up-market Brisbane suburb.

A teenage boy has been charged after allegedly slashing another teen with a knife during a house party in an affluent Brisbane suburb.

Police were called to disperse a large group of teenagers after a house party on Oriel Road in Clayfield on November 29.

An altercation the allegedly broke out between the teens on nearby Bourke Street during which a 16-year-old Eatons Hill boy sustained a large wound to his back.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A 17-year-old Salisbury boy has since been charged with one count each of grievous bodily harm, going armed to cause fear and assault occasioning bodily harm in company.

He is due to appear before Brisbane Childrens Court today, 2 December.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information or vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
