A man is fighting for life after his motorcycle veered off the road north west of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to Northbrook Parkway in Dundas just after 11am, where they found a man with life-threatening head injuries.
The man was airlifted from the scene by helicopter just before 1.30pm to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Parts of the road will remain closed as Forensic Crash units remain at Northbrook Parkway, near the intersection of Goffeys Rd.
They have urged motorists to avoid the area and expect delays.
