The CEO of Australia Post, Ahmed Fahour, gave $2million to the Islamic Museum of Australia in Melbourne. This donation was tax deductible.

The amendments to Australia Post are at the wrong end of the spectrum. Chopping nine of the 10 executives from the payroll instead of raising postage charges to $1 would encourage the continued use of this service.

A brief glance at national and international salaries will reveal the mongering of the Australian CEO. Top federal public servants receive $665,600 to $844,800; the Prime Minister, approximately $507,000; the US Postal Service CEO $550,000, in France $1.1million.
