Chinchilla drug raids: 12 people charged with offences following series of search warrants executed by Major Organised Rural Crime unit
A specialised major crime unit targeted a number of properties across the region, with two men and 10 men slapped with a raft of charges and ordered to front the magistrate.

A specialised organised rural crime unit has charged a dozen people with a raft of drug offences, following a series of targeted raids across Chinchilla.
Police say drug raids were carried out between August 2 and August 5 in Chinchilla, which led to 10 men and two women being charged.
Senior Constable Nigel Hart said among those arrests was a Chinchilla man in his 60s who was charged with producing and possessing dangerous drugs.
Police will allege a hydroponic set up which included five plants were found in his home.
Constable Hart said the operation was conducted by detectives from the Major Organised Rural Crime unit.
The 11 other alleged offenders were charged with a range of offences, including possessing dangerous drugs and utensils.
They will face Chinchilla Magistrates Court in the coming months.
