Emergency services crews were kept busy overnight after a spate of incidents across the Western Downs on Thursday April 20.
Paramedics transported an elderly man in a stable condition to Chinchilla Hospital following a house fire at a Middle St, Chinchilla residence at 7.23pm.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said three crews attended the scene to battle the blaze, which had engulfed the entire building.

A man in his 60s was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition following an incident with a quad bike on a Wieambilla property at 4.15pm.
It’s believed the man had been attempting to reverse a quad bike off the back of a trailer, when the ramp collapsed. He suffered shoulder injuries as a result.
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter crew was called into action just before 5pm.
Local Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics transported the man from the scene of the incident to a nearby health facility, where they met with the aeromedical crew.
The patient was then flown to Toowoomba Hospital, for further treatment.
