The Queensland state election will be held at the end of this month, with voters across the electorate of Callide casting their votes on who will represent them in state parliament next term.
The state general election will be held on Saturday, 26 October, 2024 and voters can fill out their ballots on or before the date.
The Callide electorate encompasses agricultural and mining towns in the Burnett, Callide and Dawson valleys.
Major towns within the division’s boundaries also include Biloela, Calliope, Chinchilla, Jandowae, Miles, Bell, Monto, Eidsvold, Gin Gin, Biggenden, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Moura, Banana, Theodore, Baralaba, Taroom and Wandoan.
The electorate borders Warrego to the south and Gregory and Mirani to the north.

Know how to vote
The most popular way to vote is in person at a polling booth on election day.
However, select polling booths will be open before election day for early voting.
If you are unable to make it to polling station, postal votes are also available to all voters, and some eligible voters can vote by telephone, or via mobile polling.
