Emergency services have revealed what they believe caused a house fire in a regional Queensland town on Tuesday.

‘Where do these people live?’ Australians ‘not entirely excited’ about population growth

The fire investigation unit is looking in to the cause of a house fire in Thargomindah on Tuesday afternoon.

Three fire crews arrived at the Dowling Street address in response to a fire at 3:35pm on Tuesday afternoon and had the blaze completely extinguished by 4:10pm.

The Queensland fire service said electrical equipment on the roof of the residential property was believed to be the cause of the fire, but the fire investigation unit would investigate further.

No people were injured in the blaze.
