Charleville police warn young drivers after drink driving incidents
Young drivers have been warned police will be out in force ahead of the Easter Weekend, after concerning incidents of drink driving across the town.

Charleville police have issued a stern warning to local youth, after recent incidents of drink driving in the remote Queensland town.
A 21-year-old man was intercepted on Stuart Street in Charleville, where he allegedly returned a roadside breath test reading of 0.099.
Police intercepted the vehicle about 1am on March 17, where he was charged with drink driving over the middle alcohol limit.
An 18-year-old man was charged with drink driving while on a probationary licence, after he allegedly returned a BAC reading of 0.025 - police intercepted the vehicle on Friday March 15.
Sergeant Cory Lubbock said police will be out in force over the upcoming Easter weekend, especially at night.
“It’s a reminder to the young ones,” Mr Lubbock said.
“There will be a lot of enforcement at night time and in the early hours of the morning.”
Mr Lubbock said the Easter road safety campaign will run from March 25 to April 19.
