Confronting vision has captured the moment Bravus workers were the victim of a barrage of abuse from anti-coal activists on site, with a female staff member called a “f---ing dumb s--t” during the toxic incident.

Bravus Mining and Resources uploaded footage of the confrontation to their Facebook page yesterday.

It’s understood the incident took place on Tuesday at the Carmichael Mine site.

“Yesterday the anti-coal activists who have been camping on our mine site without consent tried to intimidate our workers, stop them from driving on one of our private mine roads and cornered a ute driven by one of our female team members,” Bravus Mining and Resources’ Facebook post said alongside the video.

“Our security guard (in high-vis) stayed cool and nonviolent under a barrage of abuse while keeping the activists away from the ute so his colleague could drive away.

“This didn’t stop the activists speeding after her in their four-wheel-drive.

“Police have been called to the site and we expect police to take action to stop this dangerous behaviour.”

In the footage, a man is seen jumping out of a trespassing ute holding two boomerangs, before he stands in front of a Bravus ute and doesn’t let it past.

A second trespasser, a woman, is seen in the background of the video filming the unfolding incident.

The female activist begins yelling obscenities at a Bravus security guard as he calmly tries to get the man to move from in front of the vehicle.

“Go up there and drive past,” the security guard tells the female Bravus driver as he points in the direction away from the protesters.

The female protester then jumps in and begins hurling abuse at the driver.

“You f---ing dumb s--t. You dumb s--t,” she screams.

The activist then jumps in front of the ute herself and begins abusing the security guard.

“Get f--ked you stupid racist dog.”

She also screams “don’t f--king touch me” after the security guard lightly touches her on the back to get her away from the vehicle.

The unsavoury incident continues a long-running battle between anti-coal activists and Bravus, formerly Adani.

A spokeswoman for the Queensland Police Service said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
