RACQ rescue chopper tasked to suspected stroke at Middlemount

A Central Queensland man has been flown to Rockhampton after suffering a suspected stroke.
The man in his mid 50s took himself to the Middlemount Community Health Centre early Friday morning, reporting he had suffered symptoms the night before.
RACQ Capricorn Rescue was tasked to the incident about 9am.
Queensland Ambulance Service treated the man prior to handing him over the on-board medical team, who stabilised him for the flight back to Rockhampton Base Hospital for specialist treatment.
He was in a stable condition throughout the flight.
