Detectives are investigating the incident which left several pieces of machinery damaged at Emerald.

Heavy machinery at an Emerald address has been damaged, with broken windows and slashed tyres.

Detectives from Emerald Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the act of wilful damage to earth moving equipment at Wills Road.

A Queensland Police spokesman said several pieces of equipment were damaged at an unknown time between 5pm on Thursday, August 5, and 5pm Friday, August 6.

Police are requesting assistance from anyone who may have been around the area during the time period, or possibly has dashcam footage.
