Rescue helicopter dispatched to Moranbah motorcycle crash
A rescue helicopter has been dispatched to airlift a motorcyclist following a crash north of a Queensland mining town.

A motorcyclist is being airlifted to hospital after a crash in Moranbah, west of Rockhampton.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Goonyella Rd just after 2.30pm on Wednesday, May 21.
According to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the male rider in his 30s the early indications were the man was in a stable condition and suffered leg, pelvic and head injuries.
Though he was recorded as ‘stable’ he man’s injuries could typically be considered ‘potentially life threatening’, according to the spokeswoman.
They said the man was taken by ambulance to a rescue helicopter at the Moranbah Airport.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said one fire crew arrived on scene at 2.55pm.
