Rescue chopper tasked to scene of serious quad bike crash in Good Night
A man aged in his 20s was in a stable condition in Bundaberg Hospital on Thursday after being airlifted with significant chest injuries following a serious quad bike accident west of Childers.

A young Burnett man was in a stable condition on Thursday afternoon, after he was airlifted from a national park on Wednesday following a serious quad bike crash.
A LifeFlight rescue helicopter spokeswoman said it was believed the man, aged in his 20s, was riding the quad bike through a Bundaberg region national park when the crash happened at Good Night, west of Childers.
The rescue chopper was called to the crash about 3.30pm and the pilot was able to land nearby.
A critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic treated the man for multiple suspected fractures and stabilised him for his flight to Bundaberg Hospital.
It’s reported Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the man who was in a serious condition with “significant chest injuries” while waiting for the helicopter to arrive.
A Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service spokesperson confirmed the young man was in a stable condition on Thursday morning, May 2.
