A fire has emerged at a Dysart waste facility in the midst of a heat wave, with local temperatures reaching 38 degrees celsius.

In the midst of a heatwave on 38 degree afternoon in Dysart, the Queensland Fire Department are battling with a fire at a waste facility.
The incident occurred at 3.40pm, and two crews of firefighters are in attendance at Cotherstone Rd.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said rubbish had caught alight at the facility.
No workers have been evacuated and firefighters continue their efforts to contain the blaze, which is covering an area of 50sqm.
