Firefighters and paramedics battling to free woman from rolled vehicle at Gindie

Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a car crash on the Gregory Highway south of Emerald.

Initial reports indicate a woman crashed her car and rolled it, trapping her inside at 11.02am.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said while the woman’s vehicle had rolled it was not blocking the highway.

Firefighters are working alongside paramedics to free the woman from her car.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman, while trapped, appeared to be uninjured.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said they were assisting in making the scene safe.
