AN Origin-free Penrith will be looking to inflict revenge on Parramatta at Sportingbet Stadium, taking advantage of a decision by the Eels to rest gun fullback Jarryd Hayne (pictured) from the clash.

Penrith did not have a player involved in Wednesday night's epic State of Origin clash which, through injury or suspension, could claim up to a dozen players on the weekend.

The Panthers were ambushed and whacked 36-16 by the Eels in round three but won't be caught off guard this time with coach Ivan Cleary hopeful of welcoming back several players, including co-captain and hooker Kevin Kingston and under-rated prop Nigel Plum, as well as Tim Grant, who 12 months ago was playing State of Origin.

With both second-rowers Elijah Taylor and Lewis Brown named to return from injury and Penrith getting back to full strength, they look too strong for Parramatta who have decided to sit Hayne out for health reasons.
