Emergency services arrive to find both vehicles off road near Stockland shopping centre

Two people have been taken to Rockhampton Hospital after a two-car collision on the Bruce Highway at Park Avenue early Thursday morning.

Two people were taken to Rockhampton Hospital after a two-car collision on the Bruce Highway at Park Avenue early Thursday morning.

Emergency services responded to the crash at 4.10am with reports both vehicles were off the road near the Moores Creek Road intersection at Stockland Rockhampton.

No one was trapped in the damaged vehicles.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics treated two patients at the scene before transporting them to hospital in a stable condition.

The crash site was cleared by 6am. Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
