Emergency declaration over as fire crews work to hand site back to management
Police had established an exclusion zone around a Rockhampton warehouse following leakage from a 20 litre drum of acid.

The earlier emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act following reports of an acid drum leak in Kawana has been revoked.
Police removed the emergency declaration about 9.20am and reopened roads following the clearing of the hydrochloric acid incident in North Rockhampton early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a warehouse in Alexandra Street, Kawana about 4.15am, following reports of acid leaking from a 20 litre drum.
Queensland Fire Department crews diluted the spill and two crews were still on scene at 11am as they work on handing the site back to management.
Queensland Ambulance crews were also still on scene but have not bene required to treat anyone.,
Police had established an exclusion zone around the warehouse with boundaries encompassing Alexandra Street, Farm Street, Hollingsworth Street and Power Street.
Members of the public were advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone asked to remain indoors until further notice.
