Three years running for Jocks Plate winner

The enthusiasm was rife as men lined up on the field, well hydrated after a day of socialising in the sun at the Mount Perry Races.

IT WAS the 20th anniversary of the Mount Perry Races' 100m Jocks Plate dash and the enthusiasm was rife as men lined up on the field, well hydrated after a day of socialising in the sun.

For the third year running Will Schulke led the pack down the track to take out first place.

He was followed by Brendan Pimm in second place and Wyatt Jones in third.

Mount Perry Race Club's Joy Jensen said the Jocks Plate was instigated two decades ago when her son's rugby union team from Bundaberg came up with the idea.
