A New South Wales man who kicked out a police car window during a rowdy night in Mundubbera spent two days in a cell to cool down after his antics.
Jayden Gordon Provost damaged the police car window before being transferred to a pod police car, where he kicked at the door with enough force to crack the inner lining, Gayndah officer-in-charge Sergeant Don Auld said.
Celebrations at the Mundubbera Hotel followed the Gayndah vs Mundubbera football finals on Saturday.
The 26-year-old was denied bail and spent two days in police custody before fronting court where he pleaded guilty to wilful damage of police property, committing a public nuisance within a licensed premises, and obstructing police.
He was placed on probation for 15 months and ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
