Gayndah cafe windows smashed in late night attack

A Gayndah cafe called A Little Different had its front window smashed on Saturday night, but police say nothing was stolen.

A Little Different cafe in the main street of Gayndah, had its front window smashed on Saturday night.

Gayndah Police Senior Constable Brendan Florance said the perpetrator didn’t enter the business and no goods were stolen.

“Police are currently following up information and checking the town’s CCTV footage to identify the offenders,” Constable Florance said.

Constable Florance said they believe the incident may have been alcohol related, but will be investigating further.

The window is currently boarded up, but the cafe is still open for business.

“If anybody has any information can they please come forward to police,” Constable Florance said.
