A 56-year-old North Burnett man, believed to be driving towards Victoria, has been reported missing by family and friends after they failed to reach him for the last five days. Police are calling for assistance.

Police are asking for help to find a 56-year-old North Burnett man after he has failed to contact his family and friends for the past five days.

Michael Denahy was last seen driving away from Moreton St in Eidsvold at 10am Tuesday, August 8.

He is believed to be driving to Victoria in a blue Ford Falcon with the registration 565ZUV, a police statement said.

His friends and family have not heard from him since Tuesday and are concerned for his condition, which requires medication.

Mr Denahy is about 170cm tall, has greyish brown hair with a beard and was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit with white joggers.

Police are calling on anyone who has seen Mr Denahy, his car, or might have any information about his whereabouts to contact them.
