A 23-year-old male disqualified driver was caught driving without a seatbelt on November 2 in Gayndah.

Gayndah Police OIC Don Auld said the man was intercepted at 1:40pm on Capper Street when he caught the attention of police for not wearing a seatbelt.

“Turns out he was a disqualified driver,” Sgt Auld said.

“He shouldn't be driving.

“Had he been wearing a seatbelt, he wouldn't have probably caught the attention of police.”

The man will front court on December 4.
