Man killed in incident involving truck at Boynewood
A man has died in a tragic incident on private property in the North Burnett overnight while he trying to hitch a trailer to a truck.

An elderly man has been killed in an incident involving a truck in the North Burnett region on Tuesday.
The incident happened about 7.43pm at a private property at Boynewood, a spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
The man aged in his 70s was critically injured when he was hitching up a trailer, which rolled back and jackknifed, the spokeswoman said.
He suffered serious chest and abdominal injuries and died at the scene.
In other matters overnight, a man with neck and shoulder injuries was transported in a stable condition to Gayndah Hospital after a single-vehicle crash on the Burnett Highway near Ban Ban Springs at 3.42am Wednesday.
At Tiaro, a stable man in his 30s suffered chest, back and leg injuries and was transported in a stable condition to Hervey Bay Hospital after a truck and motorcycle incident on the Bruce Highway at 7pm.
