An investigation into councillor conduct is one of two matters North Burnett Regional Council will discuss behind closed doors at its May general meeting.

The North Burnett Regional Council will discuss two matters behind closed doors at its May general meeting.

Two confidential items are listed on the May 24 meeting agenda, including a “councillor conduct investigation” and Mundubbera land disposals.

Council’s last ditch plea in fight against closure of town’s last bank

“The council is satisfied that discussion of this matter in an open meeting would, on balance, be contrary to the public interest,” the agenda notes.

It is the first time either item has been listed for discussion in 2023.
