THE chances of Biggenden Warriors fielding a team in the Central Burnett Rugby League competition are looking slim.

At Saturday's sign-on at the Commercial Hotel only six players signed on including president Justin Vicary who spent the majority of the last season out with a broken arm.

Vicary said any potential players wanting to sign up have until tomorrow between 4.30pm and 6pm to do so.

"All the paperwork has to be completed by Wednesday,” he said.

"We also need 13 players to at least get a team on the paddock.”

There is a slight glimmer of hope as Vicary has been in contact with Isis Rugby League as they didn't have enough players to field a team in the Bundaberg competition.
